How Can severe Arm Pain Be Treated?
One tendon has a tear the other elongated in the rotator cuff. With surgery can I expect less pain in the upper arm & more ability to move the arm. Now have much pain with little movement of the arm. The upper arm has a compete tendon separation. Five surgeons recommend no surgery for that. Thank you. Paul

As first-line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.
If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopedician and plan for an MRI scan to rule out tendon or ligament involvement.
